England - North York Moors to Scarborough

Lythes Church of St Oswald is most well known for its amazing collection of Anglo-Scandinavian carved stones and post Conquest Anglo-Norman stones. These were discovered during the church renovation in the very early 1900s and the stones were found to date back as far as the 900s.
